Mystery death plunge of talented teenager

A SADDLEWORTH teenager who had been tipped for the top in professional rugby has plummeted to his death from a cliff.

Andrew Curwell had just completed his A-Levels and was on a celebratory holiday with school friends in Newquay when the tragedy occured at the weekend.

The Advertiser understands that the 18-year-old fell 70 feet to his death on to Great Western Beach. It is not clear if anybody was with him at the time, but police are not treating the death as suspicious.
